IT’S OFFICIAL: NEW HIGH SCHOOL WILL BE ON NC 119 NEAR HONDA POWER EQUIPMENT – County commissioners signed off this week on school system’s plan to spend $2.1 million to buy 96 acres along NC 119 near Honda Power Equipment as the site for a new high school.
Voters approved a $150 million bond referendum in November 2018, which included money for the new school, which will be the county’s seventh high school.
